We're proud to begin Welsh Elementary's 94th year of educating the children of the North End neighborhood of Rockford. We're excited to welcome all of our new families joining us this school year.

Important Kindergarten Dates!
All incoming Kindergarteners at Welsh Elementary are encouraged to attend a quick screening process with the Kinder teachers. This will aid in the appropriate placement of your child.
- Kinder Student Screening Options: In Kindergarten Classrooms
- Monday 8/14 - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 8/15 - 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 8/16 - 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Kindergarten Orientation Parent Meeting: Kindergarten Classrooms
This leads into our Back To School Night/Supply Drop-Off- Tuesday 8/29 - 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
