Volunteers from the community provide this context to the content being taught in schools, while also providing new role models to students, sharing stories of growth and change that students can learn from and aspire to.
Volunteers from the community introduce careers paths to students that they otherwise may not have known existed. While our school district does a phenomenal job of providing the material and content for learning, volunteers provide the context for the learning and guide paths to achieving careers, packaged in role models.
