Teacher Appreciation Week on the first Monday through Friday in May honoring those who have dedicated their lives to education. Teachers provide students with the tools and resources they will build upon for the rest of their lives. Not only do they educate, but they also serve as mentors and guide our youth, too.
We are showing appreciation for our Early Childhood Teachers!

Mackenzie Saichek
“She is absolutely amazing with my son, Matthew, and he has grown up so much. Her love and dedication to her students and families are amazing. My family was going through a rough time and she made Matthew feel special and also myself. I am so happy that she is his teacher and I couldn't ask for a better one."

"We want to say thank you so much for your patience with our kids! Dennis started in this classroom two years ago now and Brooklyn just started. My kid adores you and loves coming to this wonderful class of deaf and hard of hearing children. Thankful you are able to do this all day program for D/HH as well! My kids would come home being so excited that they received two stamps on their hands 'I had a good day! I got two stamps from Miss Jaycox!' To the best teacher - your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have you as our child's teacher."

Allison Cantu
"I would like to thank Ms. Cantu on behalf of my family and me because she has been an exceptional teacher. She is a caring and respectful person who not only teaches and leads the children in her class but also advocates for them. Her aura transmits hope and distinction. I feel at ease leaving my son, who is non-verbal in her class and knowing that she will reach out to me if there are any problems, concerns, or positive commentary. I feel validated and heard when speaking with her regarding my son. She has created a lasting positive impact in my son's life these past two years, and I'm sure she will continue leaving her mark in special children's hearts."

Jenna Evett
"Our son has been with Ms. Jenna for 2 years now and there are many reasons to love her and thank her! She is always there to help in any way she can. Whether it be a question about school, help keeping an eye on our son's seizures, checking in on him when he's been sick and missed classes, and even gifting us an adorable outfit for our newest addition just to brighten our day. She has consistently worked with our son to help him make better choices with friends. Pushing him to think for himself. Answered all his crazy questions and listened to him talk incessantly about his little plushie friends. Even allowing him to excessively use all her papers for his name making projects.
I asked Kai a few questions about Ms. Jenna and these are his answers:
What is your favorite thing about Ms. Jenna's classroom?
Earning pizza slices if we're good, so we can have a party.
How does Ms. Jenna make you feel?
She makes me feel smart and happy.
What do you want to tell Ms. Jenna?
I love you her so much and I hope my brother gets her for a teacher too.
Being his first and only teacher so far, his future teachers have a lot live up to after being with Ms. Jenna. I really hope that she stays with Nashold so my 2 other boys might get the chance to be taught by her. Thank you Ms. Jenna for everything you do and for loving these littles as much as we do! We can't thank you enough."

"Thank you Ms. Andrea for always giving 110%. We know this year was hard with the staffing shortage, you didn't let that stop you. Thank you for making sure our son and his peers got the education and development they needed! We appreciate you and all you do!"

“Miss Denise is amazing! She is kind and patient with all of her kiddos. She loves her school and she's always willing to stick around for all the after school programs and is a huge part of the Parent Teacher Committee. She inspires little ones for a love of learning as well as helps teach them basic skills 3-5 year olds need to be successful in kindergarten! All 4 of my kids have had the pleasure of being in her class for preschool, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Not all preschool teachers are created equal, and Miss Denise is definitely one of the best!”
